AEON PROX BOON_EDITIONS N°1 by Pieter Maes

AEON PROX | BOON_EDITIONS N°1 BY PIETER MAES

Melding architectural influences and curved lines, the first BOON_EDITIONS collaboration is  designed by Antwerp designer Pieter Maes. Aeon Prox is a collection of elegance and softness.  Artistic Elegance - How form follows feeling.

The collection includes limited edition luxury marble furniture and seatings with soft sculptural  shapes, elegant materials and unexpected details. These designs are somehow both sharp and  curvy, eye-catching and playful. A creation of emotional connections that experiments with  the boundaries between art and design putting the undulating silhouettes to decorative use  offering an enticing prospect: comfort. Simple and bold movements that balance the inner  force of upholstery with the exterior force of gravity that interacts with the surrounding through  their organic shapes and strong expression.

The aesthetic is about the power of pure forms that transcend time. Influenced by human  history that has never been written down and remains undocumented, artefacts that suggest a  distant past or a potential future.

Collection Rotolo | La Cantina

LA COLLECTION ROTOLO | BOON_EDITIONS N°2 BY STEFANO GIACOMELLO

Introducing “La collection Rotolo”: A fusion of bold playfulness and timeless elegance. “La  collection Rotolo,” brought to life by the talented Swiss-Italian designer and digital artist, Stefano  Giacomello takes inspiration in the iconic designs and architecture of the 70s and 80s, with a  special nod to Italian design.

At the heart of “La collection Rotolo” lies an insatiable desire to embrace minimalism while  exuding a bold and playful spirit. Each piece is thoughtfully crafted to maintain a harmonious  balance between clean lines and audacious forms, giving them a contemporary edge that’s also  enduringly stylish.

Drawing inspiration from a background in digital design, “La Collection Rotolo” is a testament  to artistic expression, showcasing hi’s dedication and creativity in presenting an exceptional  fusion of refinement and lightheartedness. This creative endeavour is an exciting reflection  of Giacomello’s dual identity as a designer and digital artist. With this collection, the digital  medium transcends boundaries, blurring the lines between the digital realm and the real world.  “La collection Rotolo” marks a thrilling new chapter in Giacomello’s journey, where passion and  creativity combine to bring furniture that’s way more than just luxury functional design.

VARNA | BOON_EDITIONS N°3 by Atelier Pendhapa

VARNA | BOON_EDITIONS N°3 BY ATELIER PENDHAPA

An eloquent fusion of vibrant hues and commanding monolithic forms. Each design piece is  handcrafted to captivate attention, encourage interaction, and to serve as the vibrant heart of  a space.

Drawing inspiration from the kaleidoscopic palette of the natural world - from rich emerald  greens that evoke lush landscapes to deep sapphire blues reminiscent of tranquil waters, or  vibrant reds to add warmth and energy, while soothing pastels provide a serene contrast –  the Varna collection uses colour as a tool to redefine spatial dynamics. At the heart of the  design of the collection lies its monolithic aspect: bold, geometric curved forms that assert their  presence while seamlessly integrating into a space. Each piece acts as an anchor, inviting us  to orbit around them. Their ambiguous forms become gravitational centres, inviting for social  interactions to converge and engage.

SYNTHESIS | BOON_EDITIONS N°4 by Tom Hancocks

SYNTHESIS | BOON_EDITIONS N°4 BY TOM HANCOCKS

The collection “Synthesis” came about as a process of connecting the limitlessness of digital  design - taking objects created purely for concept and artistic reasons, and translating them  into reality as tangible forms. The challenge was to bring these furniture concepts, that had  been idealized without the burdens of fabrication and materiality constraints, into the real  world without compromising form or quality. This proved to be far more exciting than arduous,  as we were able to find ways to maintain the original gestures of the designs, while also adding  a level of originality and context that couldn’t have existed without going through this process.

The formal concept was about elegant simplicity. Referencing previous eras and contemporary  themes in an attempt to create something ambitiously timeless.
