Azimut presents 'Mooring by the Moon', an immersive installation curated by AMDL CIRCLE and Michele De Lucchi, inspired by the Seadeck yacht series. Beauty and technology for a sustainable future.
In the evocative setting of the Bagni Misteriosi in Milan, Azimut is staging 'Mooring by the Moon', an emotional journey through beauty and sustainable innovation.
An itinerary of installations in four acts - a tribute to the theatrical vocation of the Bagni Misteriosi of the Franco Parenti Theatre - inviting visitors to be surprised by the wonder of the natural world, seen as if for the first time from the terrace of a boat lying on the water in the heart of the city, illuminated by the reflections of a large moon.
An unexpected environment, in which the emotions aroused by the rediscovery of nature arouse the desire to protect it and share a concrete commitment to preserve it for future generations.

The installation itinerary, curated by AMDL CIRCLE and architect Michele De Lucchi, unravels in four stages within the historical settings of the Bagni Misteriosi. The first act welcomes visitors into the suspended time of wonder where - far from the frenetic flow of everyday life - the sun rises and sets over the water while the sounds, colours and scents of the sea evoke the gentle era inaugurated by Azimut for a new, respectful relationship between man and nature.

In the second stage - The Sea Rocks - innovation and technology are revealed at the service of beauty and a more sustainable future. Large sculptures created by AMDL CIRCLE and Michele De Lucchi with the alternative and recycled materials used by Azimut for the Seadeck Series, guide visitors to discover the many lives of matter: discarded fishing nets are regenerated, recreated and endlessly reshaped to become fabric, 15,000 plastic bottles form the soul of the boat moored in Milan.

The third act recounts the philosophy of Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, authors of the Seadeck Series interiors: design for a conscious world, respectful of the relationship between people, environment and product.
The final act leads to the Seadeck 6 - the most efficient yacht ever built by Azimut, the embodiment of the course charted by the shipyard to reduce CO2 emissions and energy consumption. Moored in the heart of the Bagni Misteriosi, the boat is revealed to the public lying on the water in the shadow of the large moon, whose reflections enhance the lines designed by Alberto Mancini. With the Seadeck Series, the journey back to nature is completed thanks to technological solutions aimed at reducing emissions by up to 40% and the Fun Island, a reinvented stern deck that "embraces" the sea and a new lifestyle based on well-being.
Materia Natura, the theme of the Fuorisalone 2024, is interpreted by Azimut, AMDL CIRCLE and Michele De Lucchi as an opportunity to confront visitors with the majesty of nature - embodied by the large moon floating dreamily. Like the Seadeck, which metaphorically opens to welcome the outside environment, so at the Bagni Misteriosi in Milan we rediscover an intimate connection with the sea.
