Opposites United: Eclipse of Perceptions is the third edition of Kia’s project, in collaboration with ZERO, which brings to Milan some of the most compelling artists from the international scene.

Centred on a community of thinkers, scholars, artists, designers, and musicians — who grapple with the notion of 'form' from their diverse perspectives — Opposites United is a collective hub for dialogue and an experimental event concept shaped by its participants. Unconventional in format, it is the only festival of this scale to take place during Milan Design Week.
The Live Programme features five debates, a symposium and twelve musical performances, taking an intellectual and creative stance that centers on exchange and reciprocity as its fundamental principles.
The exhibition features work by artists A.A.Murakami and Philippe Parreno exploring our relationship with time and participatory practices. The theme of the 2025 edition is Eclipse of Perceptions, both a metaphor for the thesis-antithesis process and a rare cosmic event that has held profound significance across societies. Just as these astronomical movements bring the sun and moon together and reshape our view of the universe, the lineup of artists, musicians, and thought leaders engaging with Kia’s chosen themes, will explore concepts that may seem distant but ultimately converge to encourage new ideas.
