A visit uncovering the secrets of the Milan Metro project (1964), Line 1, guided by the exceptional Architect Giovanni Luca Minici and enriched by materials from the dedicated exhibition, featuring archival photographs and period memorabilia.

An activity designed for families and children, focused on the collective construction of structures and small bamboo villages. Starting with simple, lightweight, and flexible sticks, participants learn how to combine the elements to create stable, original, and ever-changing forms. The technique used is that of the geodesic dome, invented by architect and inventor Richard Buckminster Fuller, who presented this system at Triennale during the 10th International Exhibition in 1954. Through play and hands-on experimentation, children discover how triangles, spheres, and geometric patterns can give shape to small sustainable dwellings and entire imaginary landscapes.

Hands on paper! Using glossy, lightweight, colorful tissue paper to cut, crumple, layer, and fold, children will be invited to explore paper with their hands and their imagination. Through simple gestures, each child will create a small house-shaped structure, experimenting with different shapes and colors. Each paper house will take the name of its creator, becoming a small personal space. Inside, children can hide a surprise, a thought, or a little secret to reveal to the others through a gesture. One by one, the little houses will come together, side by side, giving shape to an imaginary, collective city in constant transformation.

Workshop for kids of 4-8 yo

We live in an age in which any document can be reproduced, altered, or generated. Any image can be modified. Any voice can be imitated. Any digital archive is potentially falsifiable. The ease of manipulation undermines what we have considered evidence for decades.

The conference takes place over the course of one day (morning 10 a.m.–1 p.m.; afternoon 2–5 p.m.), alternating between 15–20-minute in-person presentations and 7–10-minute video segments featuring mostly international guests.
