A timeless (contemporary) classic
Vitra's Resting Animals are among the most suitable objects for those who want to give a gift full of affection: imagined by the design duo Front, the Resting Animals are the result of a project focused on the bond between human beings and figurative objects. From their research, it emerged that the most emotionally significant objects often depict animals and thus the project evolved after a systematic observation of how various animals sleep or hibernate. The largest of the Resting Animals is a knitted bear that can be used in various ways, such as a stool, ottoman or backrest, while the smaller objects are a cat and two different ceramic birds. They bring a touch of nature into the home, but their peaceful presence goes far beyond the visual aspect, to communicate a sense of serenity and companionship.

The home uniform for the winter
It's definitely the pajamas. And the new line designed by REdDUO - launched in autumn 2023 - is perfect: SLEEP ON IT is the collection of chic home outfits, to wear on in any occasion. Founded by Fabiola di Virgilio and Andrea Rosso in 2020, REdDUO is the homeware project for the home and for the person that creates artifacts imagined to accompany us in the intimate sphere. Aficionados of the short supply chain, the co-founders chose a 100% deadstock cotton fabric (made in Italy), surplus fabrics from collections or inventories of no longer used textile industries which are reintroduced into the market following the virtuous circle of upcycling, after being repackaged in artisan workshops in Veneto.

For a very creative cuisine
The new capsule for the world of cooking is by Spotti Kitchen Studio and designed by CHATEAU ORLANDO, a clothing and accessories brand whose creative direction is by the super eclectic artist and designer Luke Edward Hall. The collaboration draws inspiration from a French cookbook of recipes for children, La Cuisine est un Jeu D'enfants by Michel Oliver, published in 1963: “With my drawings I tried to capture some of the magic I found in the book : it's about looking at the art of cooking through the eyes of a child, and all the wonder that is evoked when you combine ingredients to prepare a dish" explains the designer. The capsule is made up of an apron, a bread holder and 3 different tea towels made of cotton made in Italy: three recipes from the book are printed on the the tea towels, while the drawings on the bread holder and apron portray the shape of some tomatoes on a striped pattern, inspired by the variety of tomatoes that Luke grows in his garden.

For architects, designers and other friends with chaotic desks
The Toolbox by Muuto is the perfect gift for those who need (or even just want) to keep their objects in order on the shelf on which they work. Almost like a technical toolbox, it instead looks like a small house thanks to its simple lines and is divided into different compartments so as to be functional for storing different types of objects. It is made in a single piece produced in Denmark using 100% recycled plastic, including the handle, designed to make the Toolbox transportable around the home, office, workshop, and even in the bathroom or other rooms where there is a need to rationalize a bit.

For lovers of very quick (and sustainable) DIY
The One-To-One OTO Chair is a manifesto of circular design: it is a mountable single-material chair in recycled plastic designed by Alessandro Stabile and Martinelli Venezia, which marks the birth of One To One, a brand created to activate styles through design conscious and sustainable lifestyle. OTO Chair - available in 6 colors - is a minimalist and industrial icon, democratic and very easy to assemble: the assembly is an intuitive joint that does not require screws or inserts of any kind and, in addition, each chair purchased also helps to remove 500 grams of rubbish from the seas, thanks to the collaboration between One To One and Ogyre.

For cold-sensitive creatives
You just need to wrap yourself in Raawii blankets to feel transported in the blink of an eye to a very comfortable Scandinavian sofa, with a cup of hot tea in your hand and the twilight outside the window. The young Danish brand based in Copenhagen is in fact the most suitable to find out for lovers of Nordic design - especially because, once you land on the site for the blanket, you will find yourself unable to miss the shelves, jugs, vases, glasses, tables, benches, stools and so on and so forth.

A line of accessories full of empty spaces
The collection of objects designed by the Venetian duo Zaven for Vero International is a tribute to the gesture of subtraction. Just as you would do with a spring spoon with a tub of ice cream, to give shape to Scoop the two designers acted by removing portions of volumes obtaining niches and spaces in which small functions can take place: candle holders, ashtrays, ladle rests and other things-holders in blue, yellow, green and pink.

New modern classics
A shelf with porticoes, an arched magazine rack, a coffee table complete with a colonnade, a stepped spoon rest and a labyrinthine trivet: The Italians collection by Hiro Design is a tribute to the Italian architectural and built landscape. Especially since it is an excellent opportunity to discover Hiro, a production company that is more a community than a brand, a platform in which consumers are involved in the entire creative process to decide together which objects to create and what characteristics they should have. All objects are handcrafted in small series in various workshops in Italy.

A vase for minimalist decorators
This vase is an artistic object in hand-blown and hand-crafted glass, inspired by the iconic FontanaArte lampshade, model 1853 designed by Max Ingrand in 1954, of which it is a faithful miniature replica. FONTANA is a precious object in milky white satin glass that furnishes the space with elegant simplicity and can be used both as a flower vase, as a candle holder, or to hide an air freshener.

A companion item
Part of the Nui family, the Nui mini lamp translates its inspiration and design into the rechargeable table lamp version, a small companion object to take anywhere around the house. Designed by Meneghello Paolelli, it is available in three color variations for the hat and has a transparent glass base.
