Cranchi Yachts debuts with “Immersio Temporis”

— 06 April 2025

The nautical company brings Made in Italy excellence to the heart of the Brera Design District, exploring the concept of time through a unique sensory experience signed by Christian Grande

Cranchi Yachts takes part in Milan Design Week by presenting “Immersio Temporis",  an immersive installation signed by visionary designer Christian Grande.

From April 7 to 13, the historic Palazzo Clerici, in the heart of the Brera Design District, will host this impressive installation that explores the concept of time through a double immersion: physical and metaphorical.

“Immersio Temporis” is an interpretation of design and boating that transcends temporal boundaries and reinterprets the perception of time, in a sensory experience that blends beauty, innovation and tradition.

The installation invites the viewer to look upward discovering an unusual perspective, and transforming the perception of the surroundings: the keel, suspended between heaven and earth, represents a crystallized instant, a point of balance where time seems to suspend. It plays with the concepts of fluidity and mutability, just like water that holds stories and memories. The blue sheets, evocative of the sea and made from 500sqm of printed crystal fabric, suggest fluidity and immutability. The eyes then are led to dwell on the solid anchorage on land that symbolizes the foundation on which Cranchi Yachts has built its success since 1870.

The Sala delle Colonne is the stage for a video installation that through Grande's voice reveals the sources of inspiration, the design phases, and the development that gave rise to the work.
