For the international design industry, April means one thing only: Milan. A must-visit destination for every industry professional, the Lombardy capital will once again find a valuable ally in 2026 in Turin, which—through the MiTo Design Connections platform—positions itself as a strategic logistical and operational hub for the professional audience of Milan Design Week.

Hospitality, services, and fast connections
Relaunched after the encouraging debut of last year, the initiative has been structured with the aim of offering exhibitors and professional visitors to Salone del Mobile.Milano and the Fuorisalone the very best that Turin can provide in terms of hospitality, welcome services, and business-oriented facilities. Promoted by the Turin Chamber of Commerce and Unione Industriali Torino, the project leverages the high-speed rail connection: the journey between Turin Porta Susa and Rho Fiera takes less than 40 minutes—and with an additional 10 minutes one reaches the heart of Milan—creating a true “Fast Track” between the two cities, perfectly aligned with the pace of Design Week.

A hospitality network and event venues
From 16 to 30 April 2026, MiTo Design Connections simplifies stay management through a network of selected hotels, not only ensuring high standards during a period of extreme saturation in Milan’s hospitality sector, but also offering a solution that combines logistical efficiency with the pleasure of staying in a city of charm, rich in entertainment opportunities and an outstanding food-and-wine scene.
In addition, the online platform features a selection of exclusive Turin-based venues for corporate events, offering spaces and facilities for meetings, presentations, and special events.

Discover MiTo Design Connections’ offerings
To take advantage of the opportunities provided by MiTo Design Connections and choose Turin as a base for experiencing Milan Design Week 2026, users can search for the solutions best suited to their needs at https://mitodesignconnections.it/. The portal had already become popular among industry professionals last year, when at its launch it recorded 30,000 active users, who focused in particular on hotel booking pages and city events, with 40% of total views coming from international visitors.
