From April 20 to 26, the Tortona district reflects on the future of design by starting from the past, through immersive installations, mobility, and new ways of living

From April 20 to 26, Tortona Design Week 2026 returns to the Fuorisalone with “THINKING BETTER, Look Back to Shape the Future,” an invitation to design the future by reinterpreting what has already worked. Design thus shifts from the object to relationships, placing people, sustainability, and design awareness at the center, in a balance between memory and innovation.

Among the main projects, Corpografia – Paesaggio di Donna by Sara Ricciardi Studio transforms space into an intimate and shared urban landscape—an organic island dedicated to connection. Geberit presents Flow. Form. Function. with the installation RŌS by atelier oï, where the flow of water becomes a visual experience and a technical narrative.

The dialogue between design and mobility takes shape with Haus of Automotive by Konzepthaus, alongside Hyundai, unveiling the new IONIQ 3, and Lexus and Zeekr, which explore the relationship between technology, materials, and perception. Toyota Material Handling expands the theme with a reflection on logistics and AI-driven intralogistics.

The journey continues with Urban Jungle, translating nature into an immersive experience, and Barton Perreira, which merges eyewear and design in a sculptural environment. MEISDEL presents Anima 01, a kitchen that becomes an artistic object, while Lechler explores the role of color in contemporary lifestyles.

In this context, Tortona confirms itself not only as a showcase but as a space for interpreting the present: a district where design is no longer just form, but becomes a tool to understand change, connecting industry, technology, and culture.
