Steinway Milano unveils the new Limited Masterpiece Straw Marquetry Collection
For the Milan Design Week 2026, Steinway Milano presents "Straw & Strings Exhibition”. From April 20th to 26th, it will be hosting the world premiere of the Limited Masterpiece Straw Marquetry Collection, created in collaboration with French artist Manon Bouvier-Toth, founder of the Paelis atelier in Lyon.

The new limited edition reinterprets the ancient technique of straw marquetry through contemporary lens, turning natural fibers into luminous, refined surfaces with the Classic Sunburst and Concentric Waves designs, both available in Natural and Black finishes. Each piano is equipped with the Spirio | r high-resolution player system, merging heritage craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology.
The week features a series of exclusive invitation-only events:
April 20 (1 PM - 4 PM): Press presentation with artist Manon Bouvier-Toth.
April 21 (6 PM): Immersive audio-visual concert "Notes in Nature" with pianist and Steinway Artist Sînziana Mircea.
April 22 (6 PM): Jazz Concert with pianist and Steinway Artist Francesco Cavestri and his trio: "On the Nature of Jazz".
