During the Fuorisalone Digital event, Fornasetti presents its new collection "Unusual living rooms", five different proposals for living spaces united by the rigorous design, artisanal savoir faire and imaginative fantasy that have always distinguished this Milanese brand.
Leopardo, Facciata quattrocentesca, Malachite, Sole a ventaglio and Solitario are the names of the five different sets - sofas, armchairs and tables enriched by countless furnishing accessories - that will give any room a unique tone.
The creative insight behind the new collection is hidden in the pages of two small handwritten booklets, recently discovered in the Fornasetti archive. It is a collection of unpublished drawings by Piero Fornasetti, and the new living rooms celebrate that line and that style, typical of drawing, whichrepresent the unmistakable element at the origin of the Milanese brand.

The Unusual Living rooms collection is not all that's new this year. Fornasetti also announces a new service dedicated to bespoke handmade design and a new space for this activity that will be open only by appointment.
Named Fornasetti su Misura, it is a place dedicated to listening to the needs of the designer, a space in where imagination flows freely and new ideas take shape: variations of existing designs, objects created ad hoc and entire interior decoration projects.

But the symbolic green light for this post-lockdown restart has already been given by the inauguration of the exhibition “Fornasetti. Theatrum Mundi ", a new beginning that Fornasetti chose, on June 3, as a way of conveying what Barnaba Fornasetti, Artistic Director, describes as follows: "In this period as never before, we need to fill the gaps in significance and rebuild meaning. Nothing succeeds better than culture at fulfilling this function, reconnecting ideas, weaving meanings and imagining new horizons.
