Stem modular system by Philippe Nigro: componibile, elegant and sustainable

News — 02 August 2021

Versatile is the word that best defines Stem modular bookcase system, designed by Philippe Nigro, variable and transformable according to heights of the uprights and number of shelves, now available in the new aluminum version.

With its numberless modularity and visual lightness, Stem can grow in height as well as in width, to characterize professional and domestic spaces.

Stem can turn in a low console, executive floor-to-ceiling bookcase, partition wall, acoustic protection, chest of drawers and can integrate different seats, from a loveseat sofa with backrest to a little bench.

Stem is for the office, home, store, hotel, library, canteen, break or lounge areas.
It can be dressed with various accessories such as open or closed boxes lacquered in many colors or with fabric-covered doors.
Stem is a wide range of functional, modular and systemic solutions, to create human friendly spaces.

"Stem is a micro architecture, which looks beyond the world of the office, capable of coexisting in hybrid spaces and domestic environments"- Philippe Nigro

The new version of Stem is made with knurled aluminum uprights (recycled and recyclable) joined by horizontal connecting crosspieces in polished or painted aluminum and shelves made in FSC certified oak. It can be divided into a kit, available in many refined colors from dusty pink and sand to olive green, from moss green to platinum gray.

Stem can be made up with backrest and doors covered in fabric, chosen with sound-absorbing characteristics in order to ensure better noise absorption.
Manerba vision, careful towards principles of sustainability and green economy, is reflected in Stem.
