In the 5th edition of Design Shangai, 40 international design icons will take to the stage to discuss "Design Visionaries, Design Vision, Design Futures".
Design Shanghai is only 5 years old and has already been consecrated as one of the most important international events dedicated to design. Asia's premier design event is held at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre from March14th to March 17th. Over 30 countries showcasing the best design brands and creativity, in a continuous dialogue between the most brands from across the globe and emerging Chinese designers., Furthermore, the fair is the privileged moment of meeting, confrontation, in which to do business: the numbers of 2017 confirm it. Nearly 51,000 qualified visitors from over 70 countries animated the pavilions and events in the city, as well as the moments dedicated to networking.

Contemporary Design brings together a selection of the most known brands and emerging designers, while Classic & Luxury Design is the exhibition dedicated to timeless products and crafts. The Kitchen & Bathroom Design and Workplace Design pavilions present the latest innovations in their sectors, showcasing a vast combination of high quality materials and solutions. Collectible Design is the platform in which you can find limited edition from the world of art and design.

The new exhibitors are focusing on Design Shangai, including the British icon Kelly Hoppen MBE, the Italian companies Qeeboo founded by Stefano Giovannoni, and Pininfarina Extra, the young Chinese brand Zaozuo directed by Luca Nichetto, as well as Studio Italia Design, Fermob, The Rug Company and Jacob Delafon.
