Antonio Aricò

The Calabrian designer opens the doors of his apartment in the center of Milan, in one of the most lively neighborhoods of the city, full of eclectic venues and a meeting place for creatives.

Antonio Aricò's studio house is a small tailor-made refuge, entirely handmade and testimony to the designer's roots. Born and raised in Calabria, he has always assiduously frequented the artisan workshop of his grandfather Saverio, a carpenter, with whom he then created many of his famous limited edition pieces.

Aricò - who also collaborates with big brands such as Seletti, Alessi, Barilla and Bialetti - has recreated in the creative district of Milan par excellence, NoLo, a corner with the flavor of home, rich in authenticity and contaminated by the many objects that tell of the passions, the references and visual codes that often come to the designer's practice.

The Mediterranean imagination meets in this space the warm and welcoming dimension of a small city apartment, thanks to the texture and grain of the different woods used for the handmade furnishings and the plants that enlive the environment.
