Northeastern University Boston's view of the Fuorisalone

For Fuorisalone 2025, the collaboration with Northeastern University (NU) in Boston is reconfirmed.

The collaboration with Northeastern University (NU) in Boston, which began in 2024, is reconfirmed for this edition of Fuorisalone, confirming the importance of collaboration with schools and universities around the world.

The initiative is coordinated by Paolo Ciuccarelli, director of the Center of Design at NU with over 20 years of experience at the Politecnico di Milano, where he founded the DensityDesign Research Lab.

The College of Arts, Media, and Design (CAMD) at Northeastern University will sponsor a group of twelve students, who will participate with the aim of defining, through an action in the field, the elements and principles underlying the design of an event experience in the frame of Design Week, ‘decoding’ it.

The aim is to observe, analyse and narrate how design is represented and experienced on an urban scale and to return a detailed report that will be published post-Fuorisalone.
