Fuorisalone 2021: see you in April.

Appointments, Milan — 30 November 2020

The proposal is divided into two phases, the first of launch in April (12-18) and the second of closure in September (4-10) in occasion of the 2021’s edition of Salone del Mobile.

The Salone del Mobile.Milano has decided, as a precautionary measure, to postpone the fair dates to September. The sixtieth edition of the Salone will be held from 5 to 10 September 2021 and will bring together all product categories for the first time, representing a historic and special moment.

As Fuorisalone.it, we have been working right from the start to give continuity to the Fuorisalone Digital platform projecting a format that also foresees two phases for 2021: the first of launch in April (from 12th to 18th) and the second of closure in September, at the same time as the Salone del Mobile.Milano.

The decision arises from the need expressed by companies and operators to be able to promote new products and new projects online from April, in order to respect market timing, useful for the promotion and management of orders and of the production.

In 2020, digital was a valid and crucial tool in the marketing strategies of companies, creating a new way of managing relationships with professionals and clients; digital has made it possible to maintain an efficient relationship despite the limit of the absence of the fair.
This approach, which for various reasons can never replace the physical event, is in fact a fundamental tool to support companies and over time it will become fully integrated with the physical event.

For 2021 we propose once again the digital platform, integrating new features in addition to Fuorisalone TV, Fuorisalone Magazine and the Fuorisalone China channel.
The launch of the platform is scheduled for 12 April 2021 with a week (12-18 April 2021) full of content offered online: product previews, round tables, virtual events, webinars, live and on-demand videos. A territorial event is also being evaluated on these dates, in full observance of the existing rules, along the lines of what happened during Milan Design City last September.

April thus remains a key milestone in the Milan’s calendar of international appointments and marks the beginning of a semester in which design is once again the protagonist.

From April to September 2021, thanks to a dedicated editorial plan and new communication tools and important international collaborations, Fuorisalone Digital will allow international brands and operators to keep the interest and interaction with the public high by providing opportunities for promotion and dialogue with stakeholders over time.

We are at work. April is not so far.
