From 5 to 8 November, Milan’s Fabbrica del Vapore hosts the long-established charity shopping event, with a focus on the home for the first time

After more than thirty years primarily associated with fashion, Convivio is placing the home at the centre of its seventeenth edition. From 5 to 8 November 2026, Milan’s Fabbrica del Vapore will host the long-running charity shopping event in support of ANLAIDS Lombardia ETS. This year marks a new chapter devoted to Home & Lifestyle, with a programme spanning design, art, fashion, vintage and home interiors. The theme, “Giocare in Casa” (Playing at Home), invites visitors to look at domestic spaces and everyday objects through unexpected combinations. Designed by MYM, the exhibition layout will take visitors through dedicated brand spaces and multi-brand areas featuring furniture, home accessories, tableware, textiles, lighting and fragrances, alongside fashion, beauty and food.

Convivio’s fundraising model remains unchanged since its beginnings: participating companies donate products, and the proceeds help fund ANLAIDS Lombardia ETS’s research, prevention and support programmes. Design brands and businesses confirmed to take part include Artemide, Baxter, Bitossi Ceramiche, Cassina, Edra, Flos, Fornasetti, Kartell, Molteni&C, Mutina, Seletti and Vitra, alongside many other names from the industry. One of the most notable additions is “Le stanze del collezionista contemporaneo” (The Contemporary Collector’s Rooms), a space bringing together architecture, art and design in a recreation of a collector’s home. Art advisor Stefano Soso has selected 70 artworks and collectible design pieces, donated by artists and galleries supporting the initiative. The selection brings together emerging talent, established figures and artists whose work has become part of art history.

The project also includes a collectible design section curated by Alice Ida, featuring one-off pieces, editions and experimental works in ceramics, metal, glass, stone and wood. Participants include Monica Castiglioni, Natalia Criado, Duccio Maria Gambi, Daniele Mingardo, Antonino Sciortino, Studiopepe and Galleria Rossana Orlandi. The selection explores the relationship between design experimentation, materials and contemporary craftsmanship. Design will also feature prominently in the Convivio Charity Lottery, with collectible objects, limited editions, lithographs, signed prints and special experiences donated by figures from the creative world. Contributors include Formafantasma, Elena Salmistraro, Francesco Meda, Hannes Peer, Jacopo Foggini, Philippe Starck, Ronan Bouroullec, Paola Navone and Tom Dixon. The draw will take place on Sunday 8 November at Fabbrica del Vapore.

Alongside the charity sale, Convivio&More returns with a series of talks exploring the links between design, fashion, culture, health and innovation. Established in 1992 by Gianni Versace, together with Gianfranco Ferré, Giorgio Armani and Valentino Garavani, Convivio has brought the creative community together over the years in support of a shared cause: HIV research and prevention. This year’s edition builds stronger connections with the design world while staying true to the fundraising purpose that has shaped the event from the beginning.
