From French modernism to new forms of experimentation, the fair returns with international galleries, rare works and collaborations at the intersection of art and craftsmanship
From 21 to 25 October 2026, Design Miami.Paris returns to the Hôtel de Maisons, an 18th-century mansion in the Faubourg Saint-Germain district, for its fourth edition. The event takes place during Paris's art week, this year marked by the early closure of Art Basel Paris due to planned demonstrations in the city. The fair brings together an international selection of galleries specialising in collectible design, showcasing historical and contemporary works ranging from furniture and lighting to decorative arts and artist-designed jewellery.
French 20th-century design takes centre stage. Laffanour | Galerie Downtown presents works by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand and Isamu Noguchi, while Galerie Maxime Flatry brings together a selection of pieces by Robert Mallet-Stevens alongside works by Pierre Chareau, Eileen Gray and Pierre Legrain. Galerie Mitterrand highlights the work of Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne, including Singes Attentifs and Pomme de Londres. Making its debut at the fair, Swedish gallery Modernity presents a selection of Nordic design, featuring pieces by Frits Henningsen, Josef Frank and Otto Schulz. Contemporary experimentation spans a wide range of materials and approaches. Galerie SCENE OUVERTE presents Around a Desk: A Contemporary Vision of Decorative Arts, featuring a sofa by Studio KRJST built around a tapestry, a Murano glass lamp by Adélie Ducasse, and a desk and bookcase in nickel silver by Studio Lugo. Galerie Maria Wettergren brings the textile sculptures of Gjertrud Hals to Paris, while Hostler Burrows presents September, a monumental rug by Louise Hederström created in collaboration with Kasthall.
Italian design is represented by Nilufar, with a selection of vintage and contemporary works, and Galleria Rossella Colombari, which brings together pieces by Angelo Lelii and Ico Parisi. Galerie kreo, meanwhile, pairs historic French and Italian lighting with limited-edition works by contemporary designers, including Virgil Abloh and Jasper Morrison. Alongside the gallery presentations, Design at Large showcases large-scale works throughout the courtyard, interiors and gardens of the Hôtel de Maisons. Galerie Patrick Seguin presents Jean Prouvé’s 6x6 Demountable House (1944), while Maison Parisienne showcases a sculptural bench by Pierre Renart, its backrest sweeping upwards in a sinuous ribbon to form a chaise longue. In the gardens, Galerie Gastou presents bronze swings by Irene Cattaneo, inspired by the novel Effi Briest.
Among the special collaborations, Giobagnara makes its fair debut with Curated Forms, a limited-edition collection created with Martino Gamper and Gary Hume, reinterpreting the traditional technique of leather marquetry across furniture, mirrors and objects. Manufactures nationales – Sèvres & Mobilier national presents works that bring French artisanal heritage into dialogue with contemporary design, including a new Sèvres porcelain amphora by Kunaal Kyhaan Seolekar. Rounding out the programme is Designers of Tomorrow, an initiative by Design Miami and Apple supporting four emerging designers. This year’s theme, Design for Presence, explores how design can foster attention, connection and meaningful relationships between people.
