“Evoking immediate, direct emotions. The ceramic tiles "Sensi Pigmenti" appeal to our senses. By using a unique layering of natural, mineral colours and a feel of nature inspired materials, the panels not only attract the eye, they also invite you to touch.”

In a space where the design of surfaces embraces the world of sustainability, “Sensi Pigmenti” is the original chromatic project that completes the “Sensi of Casa dolce casa“ collection, a virtuous example of the circular economy.

Available in four neutral colours that recall different mineral essences and pigments extracted from the earth, these slabs feature three decorative proposals that reflect the theme of manual skills and the strong link between art, craftsmanship and design. “Sensi Pigmentiexplores the authentic beauty of handmade products – reinterpreted using Florim’s most cutting-edge technologies – and completes the research process initiated with the ‘Sensi’ series, further expanding its design possibilities through coordinated colours that match its natural hues.

A garden, bar, swimming pool, kiosk, greengrocer and clothes shop are the settings that feature in the installation. The concept, which can entirely be experienced outdoors, involves the seven windows of the Florim Showroom overlooking Foro Buonaparte, which are decorated with the graphic elements of ‘Sensi Pigmenti’. Fluid spaces – in line with the theme of this year’s Brera Design Week, which promotes the concepts of proximity and urban renewal – draw a micro-city that conveys a precise message: design is increasingly sustainable. The installation embraces a sustainability paradigm in which urban planning is people-centred.

A fascinating exhibition open to visitors invites the world of design to also reflect on the role that companies must now play in facing the most recent challenges.
Such is the case for B Corps, companies which – like Florim – have chosen to view business as a positive force that can generate profit and have a virtuous impact on people and the environment.
