May Contain Traces of Forest
The exhibition at Circolo del Design in Turin - co-curated by scientist, forestry researcher and populariser Giorgio Vacchiano and design curator Elisabetta Donati de Conti - combines scientific research with innovation in design, exploring new ways of conceiving production, extraction practices and the language of objects. The first part of the exhibition presents tools and artefacts that reveal the influence of forests in our daily lives, while the second displays some researches by Italian and international designers experimenting with new materials, manufacturing processes and speculative narratives - a unique opportunity to reflect on our relationship with forest ecosystems, through common objects, unpublished projects, visual research and audio-video investigations.

PENG ZUQIANG: “VESTIGES”, Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation
The exhibition by Peng Zuqiang, winner of the illy Present Future 2022 Award, marks his first solo exhibition in Italy and represents a new phase in his exploration of the affective meaning of stories, bodies and language. On the occasion of “Vestiges”, the artist presents two new video installations that address the themes of memory and contamination in relation to the production and diffusion of images. This solo show in the evocative spaces of the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation examines the affectivity and fragility of bodies, offering a unique look at the sphere of memory, understood as a series of traces, often ambiguous, rather than as an archive ordered according to efficiency criteria.
